The Abandoned Hospital

It's always nice to visit locations like this. Castles, Hospitals, those are probably my 2 favorite hot spots to picture. This one was an avarage hospital, a bit old fashioned maybe... But sure as hell, nice equipment left behind, nice details, scanners (and I was thinking those tools costed lots and lots of money), whatever you name... And it was very sad to see, that only a few weeks after our visit, the place became emptier and emptier, and more and more trashed...

And so for the end of a beauty...

Horror Labs, a nice adventure!

Last sunday I visited the well known location, known as the Horror Labs with a fellow explorer from Holland.
Since the gates were wide open, we entered the area, scouting for a possible entrance. Not a real succes tbh. People started to look at us, so we decided to leave the yard to use the only entrance possible. A small 'manhole', looking directly out on a rather busy street, a restaurant/bar where people were eating/drinking.

2 suspicious lads, armed with backpacks and tripods, but after a bit of hesitation we were like 'Ah, whatever' so we crawled in. Well, I never regretted it for a second. My previous visit at this location was situated in the middle of the night, when we could still acces the front door. But again, people passing by (despite the ungodly hour), police patrols every 5 minutes... Very stressy, believe me. Completely stressed out we went through the whole building, but decent pics, no way...

So I'm offcourse very happy that our revisit was a great succes!

The basement, filled up with animal parts on formol. Tasty...

Too bad the ground floor got pretty messed up, thanks to homeless people and junks...

 But it is a beautiful building, with a fantastic architecture...

 And again, medicine bottles, syringes, dead animals...

 And off course, the greatly decayed auditorium. Stunning...

 And last but not least, one of my favorite subjects to picture - stairways...
